Three teenagers who have been raised by Hydra to believe that they are training to become superheroes and defeat the Avengers embark upon their first mission. The youngsters discover the truth and escape from Hydra to seek help from the Avengers.

Thor, Captain America, Hulk and Wasp engage in a dramatic battle with the villainous Red Skull. Iron Man and Makoto must desperately search Hydra's base to liberate Chloe and Adi and succeed in defeating the sinister Hydra.

The Avengers are tasked with the difficult challenge of transporting Red Skull to the Raft. They are attacked by the powerful Winter Soldier, who seeks to eliminate Red Skull during the journey.

Bored with hanging around Avengers Tower, Makoto, Chloe, and Adi sneak into New York City to try and become heroes on their own. Meanwhile, Ares, the God of War, surprise attacks the unaware Avengers.

Thor takes Makoto, Chloe, and Adi on a visit to K'un Lun, where they meet Iron Fist. He agrees to train the kids. Makoto is frustrated by the training exercises. Thor receives a warning about a threat, which only the Future Avengers can stop.

Iron Man must confront his past mistakes when the son of the Iron Monger returns to avenge his father and destroy Tony Stark. Adi grapples with crimes he committed under Hydra's control, unsure whether his past makes him worthy of being a hero.
