A Bureau worker encounters a murderer and witnesses an unbelievable phenomenon.

The Bureau focus on a sentence in Sae Byeok's report that could lead to them cracking the case. Sae Byeok is shocked when he receives the DNA analysis report on the woman who disappeared.

Sae Byeok and Sae Ha steal the classified files on the woman. However, things take a turn for the worse when they learn about a terrible incident that took place in the same year the Grid was conceived.

Sae-Byeok continues to investigate the murder despite the Bureau issuing orders to him to cease. However, Sae-Byeok's investigation takes a strange turn when she receives a mysterious visitor.

The Bureau issues an APB on Manok while intentionally spreading misinformation about the Grid. With the biggest bounty ever arranged on any individual, Saebyeok worries that civilians may get hurt in the hunt for fugitives.

Sae-Byeok successfully captures Manok but loses him to the Deputy Director of the Bureau. In order to get to the bottom of the truth, Sae-Byeok is forced to work against the local police departments.
