Miskina, Poor Thing

Surrounded by friends and family, Fara helps organise her sister Safia and her husband Maxime's wedding as best she can. Her grandmother Rania refuses to leave the kitchen to attend the wedding.

Maxime takes his new spiritual path and Safia is upset with her sister. Fara has to make amends if she is to return to the family home after she finally decides to do Ramadan properly.

Fara is jealous of Nassim and Chérifa's budding relationship. Mariam advises her to tell him how she feels so as not to miss her chance. Fara must first go to the scrapyard with Damien to recover what is left of his food truck.

Fara does not want to join her friends to watch the France-Algeria football match. For Najet, the evening brings back memories of when she met her daughters' father, Kader, in 975.

Damien finds Rania on the kitchen floor during the night. Everyone ends up in the hospital and settles scores. Fara realises that it is time for her to take steps to find her father.

Fara and Safia are in Oran. They have two days to find a new tajine for Rania. Fara uses this time to get to know her Algerian family and the country better, which Safia dislikes as she wants to go back as soon as possible.
