A series of surreal events prevent the burial of Eva Perón, the First Lady of Argentina.

Despite being mistreated, Mariano intensifies the search for Evita's body. As he delves into the connections of Eva's past, Mariano learns about important moments in her life.

Mariano and his wife Irene argue about the investigation, as she feels they are in danger. When they return to their flat one night, her fears are confirmed. Mariano, however, has no intention of letting it rest.

Knowing that their lives are in danger, Irene makes arrangements to leave the country, but at the last minute Mariano refuses, putting the marriage at risk. His investigation uncovers a bloody tragedy in 1955.

Mariano discovers that after the tragedy at Arancibia's house, Evita's body was taken to the Rialto cinema. He also learns that the cinema has links with Cifuentes, a militant with ties to Moori.

Mariano comes face to face with Colonel Koenig and sees that alcohol has cost him almost everything. Willing to tell 'his truth', Koenig tells himof the attack on his family.
