S1, E4: Shunpei and Rei officially move into Nijiya, and a new life as a happy family of four grown-ups and three kids begins. To reinvigorate Nijiya, Sousuke remodels the restaurant, and with Meiku starting a new part-time job, it is a fresh start for all. But just as everything seems to go smoothly, a major incident occurs. A very intimidating father, Toru Kurosaki, has seen the #bemyfamily post and shows up with his eight-year-old daughter Itsuki, demanding to move in today. However, Nijiya is fully occupied. Rei boldly stands up to the coercive Kurosaki, while others are concerned with how forlorn Itsuki seems. A difference in opinion causes a small rift between Rei and Shunpei. Determined to patch things up, Shunpei tries hard to communicate with Rei, only to discover her surprising secret.
