S1, E1: End Day investigates four possible scenarios for apocalypse, which have all been predicted by scientists, and uses stunning special effects to dramatise what each scenario would mean for civilisation. In the scenarios a mega-tsunami (tidal wave) strikes New York; a dead comet annihilates Berlin; and Britain falls victim to a deadly virus.
