S1, E5: While at work, Hakuro receives an anonymous letter stating Yasuharu will be killed that evening. Hakuro goes to lunch with Kaede and Motomi and tells them about the letter. Hakuro believes it is nothing more than a prank, but Kaede and Motomi believe that someone is trying to stop Yasuharu from being killed. Meanwhile, Namie has decided to gather the Yagami family together that evening to open the locked room and verify the inheritance. She asks Hakuro to join because some of the inheritance items belonged to his late mother. That evening, Hakuro and Kaede arrive at the Yagami home and confirm Yasuharu's safety. Hakuro expresses his complicated feelings toward Yasuharu and Kaede proposes a plan to prevent his murder. The time to unlock the locked room is almost upon them.
