S1, E6: Amami returns to the Japan Future Promotion Conference, and they make a commitment to work together to rebuild Tokyo. People return to their daily lives and the government discusses moving forward with reconstruction. Prime Minister Higashiyama and Deputy Prime Minister Satoshiro clash once again over the reconstruction plan. Higashiyama is determined to stand up to Satoshiro following the sinking of Kanto, but the recovery plan put forward by the Future Promotion Conference under his leadership suddenly comes to a halt. Satoshiro devised a clever scheme to surpass Higashiyama's efforts. Dr. Tadokoro calls Amami and reports Japan is sinking. They must act in order to save 120 million lives, but Satoshiro refuses to acknowledge the situation.
