S1, E4: The superb quality of Hideaki Anno (Ken Yasuda)'s animation crushes Moyuru Hono (Yuya Yagira)'s spirit. Moyuru changes his mind back to becoming a manga artist. Moyuru works on a manga to bring to a publisher in Tokyo. Meanwhile, Anno had chosen to focus on animation and Takami Akai (Tomoya Nakamura) on stop motion movies. Hiroyuki Yamaga (Murotsuyoshi) is convinced that these two highly driven students will secure their own future. As the summer vacation comes to an end, Moyuru heads to Tokyo with Kishimoto (Yohei Omizu).
