S1, E1: A newly single father of three months, Shunpei Akagi spends his days juggling both raising his five-year-old son Haru and working at a children’s book publishing company, Eggplant. One day, he runs into his childhood friend Sousuke Osanai. Upon learning of Shunpei’s challenges as a single parent, Sousuke makes an outlandish suggestion to recruit a family on social media, and share childcare duties. Shunpei does not believe anyone would agree to that, but Sousuke receives a phone call from Rei Momota, a teacher who is a single mother to a five-year-old girl, Shizuku. Then along comes singer-songwriter Meiku Yokose, who, while chasing her dreams, raises her six-year-old son, Daichi.
