Hard-of-hearing college student Kohei Sugihara (Hideya Tawada) tends to distance himself from others, until classmate Taichi Sagawa (Akira Onodera) runs into him. Intrigued by Kohei's delicious-looking lunch, Taichi asks for a bite. Kohei agrees, but Taichi is confused when Kohei leaves without saying a word. After Taichi learns about Kohei's condition, he strikes up a proposition: offering to write up the notes from class in exchange for part of Kohei’s bento every day. As they gradually grow closer, a unique friendship starts to develop. Adapted from the manga series "I Can Hear the Murmur" by Yuki Fumino, this is a 2017 Japanese youth drama film directed by Kamijo Daisuke.
