In the celestial realm, Marshal Tian Peng (Hanson Ying) is tasked with hunting down the evil Monkey King, Sun Wu Kong (Zhang Yu Xuan), who once caused chaos in the heavens. After being exiled by Buddha beneath a mountain, Sun Wu Kong now threatens to break free and wreak havoc in the mortal world. Tian Peng travels to the mortal realm and teams up with Bao (Wang Yi Zhe), a skilled monster hunter, to find the Monkey King's underground lair. As they search, a bond of affection grows between them. When Tian Peng finally confronts Sun Wu Kong, he must tap into his deepest, most primal powers to have any chance of defeating this formidable enemy. Loosely based on characters from the classic 16th-century novel "Journey to the West," this is a 2020 Chinese fantasy movie directed by Dai Yi Lin.
