Inha is a young country girl who dreams of studying fashion in Paris. She seizes the chance to escape to Rio de Janeiro, and try a seamstress position at Portela Samba School, where internationally famous fashion designer Carrie Catherine is creating the costumes for the parade. In the samba school backstage, Inha falls in love with Guima, a float sculptor, and she discovers the fascinating Carnival universe.
