Second production in the Toei Movie x Stage project that connects the big screen with theater. The last of the death handlers investigates serial killings in Edo for this innovative historical drama. Original story and script by Yasushi Suto of Detective in the Bar.The story takes place during the reign of Iemitsu Tokugawa, the third Shogun. Detective Genshiro Kusaka made a deal with Juran the Grim Reaper to obtain supernatural powers, and he gets a request to find a missing woman. Meanwhile, courtesans in Edo's Yoshiwara red-light district are being murdered.
