The Last Gunfight

Police Detective Fujioka (Toshiro Mifune) finds himself accused of corruption. As punishment, he is sent to patrol a crime-ridden city festering with gang violence. Two formidable Yakuza organizations, the Oka and the Kozuka, are conducting a war. The Oka try to bribe the banished detective, but Fujioka befriends an ex-Kozuka (Kôji Tsuruta) whose wife was killed by the Oka. The man is determined to avenge his wife's murder, which means his new buddy, Fujioka, must make a dangerous decision.
