yusei (Atsushi Ito), the owner of the Ryusei Kiln of Tobe Pottery, wins a torch stand design competition and decides to take on the challenge of creating a "porcelain torch stand" with his family. However, he needs the skills of his father and the other potters, who had been his adversaries. Then, the older brother Tatsuya (Hidetaka Yoshioka) suddenly returns to town and joins the family.
