After her parents decided to move away for work, high schooler Aoi Nishimori (Mone Kamishiraishi) chose to stay behind, resulting in her living alone. However, she soon has an unexpected houseguest: Shusei Kugayama (Yosuke Sugino), the most popular student at their school, invites himself over to stay after a kitchen fire ruins his own home. As Aoi and Shusei spend more time together, their “temporary” living arrangement blossoms into romance… until Shusei’s cousin Reon Kugayama (Ryusei Yokohama) comes to visit from America to out why he refused an opportunity to attend college overseas. When he discovers that the reason is Aoi and Shusei’s secret relationship, he insists on moving in, too! As tensions rise between the three housemates, will Aoi and Shusei’s bond grow stronger?
