アンヌ・シャリエ
Although she has made an impact on the big screen -- most notably in the 2006 film "Paid" in which she played a French prostitute working in Amsterdam -- Anne Charrier has been more successful as a TV actress, having appeared in 22 shows compared to just seven movies. But while she may be a familiar face to French viewers, it is her film career which has introduced her to a more international audience. The dark-haired Gallic star, made her TV debut in 2000 and from then on made her mark on several TV shows, the best-known being the French series "La Crim," about cops in Paris, which ran from 1999 to 2006. However, it was "Paid," in which she finally made her movie debut, that really put her on the map. The movie, a film noir set in the Netherlands, tells the story of a call girl and a hit man who attempt to escape to a new life after falling in love. Filmed in English and featuring an international cast, "Paid" co-starred American actor Corbin Bensen and acclaimed Scottish star Tom Conti. Charrier has since been seen in the Daniel Auteuil-starring cop thriller "MR 73" (2008) and the 2011 procedural "R.I.F. (Recherche dans l'Intérêt des Familles)," with Yvan Attal and Valentina Cervi.
