Imani Hakim

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Imani Hakim is an American actress. When Hakim was 7, she studied acting at Karamu House Theater in Cleveland. At 11, Hakim moved to Los Angeles with her father to pursue a professional acting career. Hakim booked her first role as Tonya on "Everybody Hates Chris" (2005-09). Hakim starred as Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas in the Lifetime biopic, "The Gabby Douglas Story" (2014). In 2020, Imani Hakim starred on the Apple TV+ comedy series, "Mythic Quest."
