After Lana reads from a book written in the 1600s containing magical spells, she, Lois (recurring guest star ERICA DURANCE) and Chloe become possessed by witches who had been burned at the stake. The three witches have returned to seek revenge, and they search for the powerful Kryptonian crystals, wreaking havoc on the town. Clark attempts to stop the witches, but they strip him of his powers and force him to reveal the location of the crystal he hid in the cave.
