ウェンデル・ホームズ

Wendell Holmes was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. Holmes began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the drama "Lost Boundaries" (1949) with Beatrice Pearson, the western "Good Day For a Hanging" (1958) with Fred MacMurray and "I Want to Live!" (1958) with Susan Hayward. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Maverick" (ABC, 1957-1962). He continued to act in productions like "But Not For Me" (1959) and the action movie "Edge of Eternity" (1959) with Cornel Wilde. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Because They're Young" (1960) with Dick Clark, the Burt Lancaster dramatic adaptation "Elmer Gantry" (1960) and "The Absent-Minded Professor" (1961). Holmes was most recently credited in "Lotto Land" (1995). Holmes passed away in April 1962 at the age of 48.
