グウェン・ワトフォード

Gwen Watford was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Watford's acting career began mostly with her roles in various films, such as "Never Take Sweets From a Stranger" (1960), the Elizabeth Taylor dramatic adaptation "Cleopatra" (1963) and "Taste the Blood of Dracula" (1970). She also appeared in the TV movie "In This House of Brede" (CBS, 1974-75). In the seventies and the eighties, Watford devoted her time to various credits, such as "The Ghoul" (1975) starring Peter Cushing, "Agatha Christie Stories, Series II" (PBS, 1984-85) and "Agatha Christie's Miss Marple, Series I" (PBS, 1985). She also worked on "Cry Freedom" (1987) starring Kevin Kline. She held additional roles in television including a part on "Sorrell and Son" (PBS, 1987-88). Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Relatively Speaking" (PBS, 1989-1990) and "The Winslow Boy" (PBS, 1989-1990). Watford more recently appeared in "Miss Marple: The Mirror Crack'd" (1993).
