ボティ・ブリス

Actress Boti Ann Bliss is best known for her recurring role as DNA analyst Maxine Valera on the hit crime procedural series "CSI: Miami." Bliss grew up in a bohemian lifestyle, living in a teepee with her family in the tourist town of Aspen, Colorado, where her stepfather and mother sold knitted sweaters. Bliss began her professional acting career in the mid 1990s with appearances in both television movies and sitcoms like the short-lived Cybill Shepherd showcase "Cybill." Soon after, Bliss landed on such hit shows as the crime drama "Nash Bridges" and the supernatural thriller "Charmed," along with a gripping role in the TV movie "Ted Bundy," about the real-life serial killer. But her best-known role arrived in 2003, on the crime show spinoff "CSI: Miami," starring David Caruso; she remained in the cast until 2009. After leaving "CSI: Miami," Bliss continued working steadily, including a brief stint on the long-running soap opera "The Young and the Restless."
