ライリー・ヴォールケル
Riley Voelkel was born in Elk Grove, CA, and raised in Canada. She moved to Los Angeles after high school to pursue a career in modeling, but ultimately switched her sights to acting instead. Voelkel made her big screen debut as a background player in the Oscar-nominated film "The Social Network" (2010), which led to larger roles fairly quickly. She balanced one-off roles on television shows like "Glory Daze" (TBS 2010-11) and "The Mentalist" (CBS 2008-2015) with minor parts in films like "Prom" (2011) and "Hidden Moon" (2012) before landing her first acting gigs of note. Voelkel took on a supporting role on Aaron Sorkin's "The Newsroom" (HBO 2012-14), playing Jenna, a college-aged assistant to Jeff Daniels' protagonist Will McAvoy. Shortly after accepting this position, she joined anthology series "American Horror Story" (FX 2011-) as the younger incarnation of Jessica Lange's character, Fiona Goode-a witch. Even after the termination of both roles, Voelkel didn't skip a beat in finding new TV work. She boarded the fantastical series "The Originals" (The CW 2013-) early on in its third season, playing Freya-yet again, a witch.
