おおぞら銀行地蔵通り支店長の野崎修平（織田裕二）の元に支店閉鎖の通達が下った。出向を覚悟していた野崎の次なる異動先は、役員昇格となる監査役への就任だった。就任後の野崎に一枚のメモが届けられる。そこにはタニダエージェンシーという企業を調査するように書かれていた。調査を始める野崎だったが、かつての部下だった阿部龍平（ユースケ・サンタマリア）から調査を止めろとの指示が下る・・・・・・。

東京のはずれ、まほろ駅前で便利屋を営む多田啓介 (瑛太) のもとに、行天春彦 (松田龍平) がいつからか住み込む様になった。雇ったわけではないがいつのまにか二人三脚で便利屋の仕事をこなしていた。そんなある日、男が依頼にやって来た。男の名はスタンガン西村 (永澤俊矢)。まほろプロレスという団体の代表で、自分の引退試合の相手を務めて欲しいという。
