とある町の防犯会長をしている摂子（藤真利子）が何者かに拳銃で殺害された。現場の状況から強盗殺人の可能性が高いが、青柳（吹越満）と村瀬（津田寛治）は外国人窃盗団の犯行と珍しく意見が一致。が、青柳は被害者が地元の交番に何度も電話をしていた携帯の発信履歴をもとに秘かに捜査を開始。村瀬も凶器の拳銃から摂子の指紋が検出されたことから、顔見知りによる犯行の線で捜査を始め、志保（羽田美智子）にあきれられる。一方、倫太郎（渡瀬恒彦）と直樹（井ノ原快彦）は、凶器が太平洋戦争中に大日本帝国陸軍が使用していた十四年式拳銃であることに着目。事件の第一発見者である岩倉（深水三章）が父親の遺品として鑑定に出していたことをつかむ。が、岩倉によると、店主が警察に通報。押収された拳銃は8個すべての銃弾とともに保管庫にあることを、安全課の千佳（大和田美帆）とともに確認する。(C)テレビ朝日・東映
