After her grandmother passes away, middle-school student Kana must survive on her own by finding a part-time job.

Now that Kana is officially part of the newspaper staff, Saki begins teaching her how to make newspaper deliveries.

Just as Kana appears to be getting used to her new life, a familiar transfer student arrives at her school.

The ladies plan a trip to a water park and Kana is taken to the department store to buy a bathing suit.

On the way back home from the bathhouse, Kana runs into some friends she knows from the cooking club.
