Shizuka lives with her father who has hearing disability, and has helped him with listening and speaking since her childhood. Due to her background, she has habits such as gazing at people and using gestures, that can generate misunderstanding when communicating with others. One day, she helps Keichi, one of the customers at the restaurant where she works. As Shizuka and Keichi both experience barriers in ordinary communication, they gradually become attracted to each other.
