Haruko (Chiaki Kuriyama) is a single, 34-year-old manga artist whose manga work centers around BL ("Boys' Love"). Although she has found fame through her career, she’s so far from love in her private life that she’s even forgotten how to talk to men. One day, Haruko hears that her friend from high school is happily married. Suddenly, Haruko, feeling uneasy about her own future, determines that she should also get married! Spurred on by her assistant, Kiriko (Hinako Sano), she soon starts taking part in mixers. However, for Haruko, it is diffcult to tell the opposite sex that she has chosen to write BL mangas as her profession.
