The trouble with social media never ends. In order to respond to the public discourse, the Metropolitan Police Department established a specialized unit called "The Finger-Murder Task Force", commonly known as "Yubitai". The task force analyses information on social media for investigations, and consults with the public to eliminate false accusations and libel. While pursuing these objectives, this new task force is world-first and is composed of peculiar individuals outside of the traditional career path, including Wataru Banjo (Shingo Katori). One day, a couple visit the task force office. Their daughter committed suicide recently, but the police called off the investigation early, saying there was "no criminal incident". However, after learning the daughter, who was a fashion model, was subjected to severe abuse online, the task force is asked to apprehend those who drove her to her death. The "Yubitai" investigation begins!
