In this Italian show, Viola Vitale, former Miss Italy, moves from Paris to Palermo to work as a journalist in the editorial office of Sicilia Web News. The real reason for her trip, however, is much more important and mysterious and is linked to one of her super powers: synesthesia. It is thanks to this ability, which allows her to read people's feelings through a colour.

For her first news report, Viola collaborates with Inspector Demir to find out who tried to kill a 16-year-old boy. This investigation leads her to discover that even her synesthesia can mislead her and that the truth is not always what it seems. Tamara, meanwhile, urges Viola to get Demir's help in the search for the father she has never met.

The death of a beauty parlour owner prompts Viola to question prejudice and how it affects people's lives, including her own. Indeed, she sees Demir only as a Don Juan, but an unexpected encounter will perhaps change her mind. Meanwhile, at the editorial office, Viola is still trying to gain recognition from Claudia.

During the search to find her father, Viola meets the young and charming Raniero who, struck by her beauty, invites her out to dinner. Will Viola be willing to accept? The death of a bank manager's wife then leads her to focus on the investigation and to understand something about her past. Demir, meanwhile, meets Farah, a mysterious girl who could wreak havoc in his life.

While Demir tries to extract information from Farah, Viola prepares for her appointment with Raniero. Meanwhile, both Demir and Viola are caught up in a new case. The victim is the owner of Siciliana Solventi, a company on which journalist Domenico is conducting a thorny investigation. The case will lead Viola to reflect on the importance of the truth.

Viola is torn as to whether to reveal to Demir what she has discovered about Farah, but her attempts end in an argument. Working together on a road investment case, however, brings them so close that Demir helps Viola to trace a mysterious trip that the girl's mother supposedly made to Palermo 10 years earlier. What they discover will shock Viola.
