Tsubasa, a boy with a passion for soccer, arrives with his family in a new city and shows interest in joining one of the local soccer teams.

Wakabayashi accepts Tsubasa's challenge under one condition: Tsubasa needs to prove he is a better player than everyone on the Shutetsu team.

Former Brazilian national team player Roberto Hongo has decided to live in Tsubasa's house; he becomes the manager of the Nankatsu small soccer club and organizes a practice game.

Roberto stays over at Tsubasa's house, where they talk about his dreams of being a professional soccer player. However, Roberto hides the real reason why he moved to Japan.

Tsubasa and teammates discover Shutetsu is playing a friendly match with a nearby school.
