Mikochi ties for first place in a singing contest without even participating, upsetting her fellow winner, Konju, who did; a scientist named Sen freaks out Hakumei and Mikochi with her ability to reanimate the dead; Hakumei must fix a coffee grinder.

Hakumei's fireworks mishap destroys the house, so she and Mikochi go camping; Hakumei and Iwashi try to fix a windmill.
