Ha Gyung finds out her ex-husband is involved in the accident; Jung Hwan tries to make Tae Joon the prosecutor general; Ha Gyung was out to investigate Tae Joon and Tae Sub, but now she stands as a witness.

An operation for Jung Hwan is in order; he recalls his memories with Ha Gyung from 7 years ago; unaware of her father's condition, Ye Rin calls her mother to complain about Jung Hwan's unresponsiveness.

Ye Rin and Ha Gyung are reunited to talk for one last time through an abrupt phone call; Ha Gyung as a mother, couldn't tell her daughter that she needs to be imprisoned; Ye Rin is also unaware of her father's current state.

Minister Yoon is fired; rather than being mad, she's thankful for being removed from the delicate position she once held on to.
