The free-spirited Sang Qi (Zhao Lu Si) promised her late brother she would fulfill his last wish by gaining entry to the Imperial College. However, this task is harder than it appears: the college only accepts men from noble families. Its new head, Yan Yun Zhi (Xu Kai Cheng), seeks to admit only the finest scholars in the land.
