Japan's "Saitei" Man

On Makabe's advice, Ippei seeks to gain the support of an influential local figure, whose son happens to be a teacher at Asahi's preschool.

After Ippei learns that Himari has been absent from school, he and Makabe plot to curry favor with the PTA by showing support for truant students.

After eating at Miyako's bistro with Shosuke and the kids, Ippei decides to start a cafeteria for children in need and asks Miyako to help.

The preschool where Shosuke works gets an ambitious new principal, but five already dissatisfied teachers quit; Makabe sees an opportunity for Ippei.

Shosuke wants to move out of Ippei's house, but has to stay until after Himari's birthday; Ippei must find a way to keep the family under one roof.
