After witnessing the destruction of his home, Hazardian Dapp must find, and convince, five humans of the Pegasus Garage who possess the connection with legendary car constellations to become the Carranger and save their planet.

The Carranger escape from Dappu's explanation of their new Giga Formula weapon only to need it to take on a Gorotsuki who wants to use car noises as a signal to get the Earth blown up by other aliens.

On a trip to Earth to sample the local delicacies, Inventor Grotch accidentally becomes a giant from something he ate, forcing the Carranger into a situation where they must create a means to fight larger threats.
