La Dolce Vita
A broken marriage. Infidelity. Betrayal. Ha Dong Won (Jung Bo Suk) is a successful investment fund manager who has the seemingly picture-perfect life with his wife, Yoon Hye Jin (On Yeon Soo), and their two children. But the slick, narcissistic Dong Won has never been faithful to his wife. He has been carrying on a long-term affair with Hong Da Ae (Park Si Yeon), the beautiful young owner of the elite jewelry store Scarlett in Apgujeong. Hye Jin gave up her career to become the perfect wife and mother. She knows that Dong Won is having an affair, and she decides to go to Japan to kill herself. But when she gets to Japan, she attracts the attention of the mysteriously good-looking Lee Joon Soo (Lee Dong Wook), and they have a passionate fling. When Hye Jin returns to Korea, she expects to never see Lee Joon Soo again. But she soon learns that Da Ae, Dong Won’s mistress, is Joon Soo’s ex-girlfriend. When Da Ae wants to break off her affair with Dong Won because she still has feelings for Joon Soo, their hopelessly entwined fates will end with one person’s death. “La Dolce Vita” is a 2008 South Korean drama series directed by Kim Jin Min.
