Ye Ji starts her first day at Seo Hwan's school and meets Hwan; she notices his artistic talent, and Hwan notices her beautiful eyes; Ye Ji gets a text message from her ex-boyfriend to meet.

Ye Ji gets a room next to Hwan's place, and Hwan delightfully helps her move in; Jin waits for Ye Ji and offers her a ride to Seoul for the weekend; Chairman Bang tells Jin to marry Carrie.

Hwan waits for Ye Ji while she enjoys the moonlight by the beach with Jin.

Jin bribes Ye Ji's aunt with an envelope of money and tells her to stay out of their relationship.

Hwan goes to university in the U.S., while Jin tries to work at his mother's company; however, with a project not progressing in the right direction, Jin resigns; Ye Ji visits her aunt's home for her father's memorial service.

Hwan finds Ye Ji on Jeju Island; when they see one another for the first time in three years, they immediately embrace and comfort each other.
