福山玄之介 (間宮祥太朗) は、バツ2で7歳の息子を育てるシングルファザー。脱サラして家業の『まるふく工務店』で営業職として働くも、人の良さからくる押しの弱さでいまだ成約ゼロ。父で社長の蔵之介 (遠藤憲一) や、設計士の弟･竜之介 (吉野北人) から、営業マンとしての将来を不安視されている。そんなある日、大手リフォーム会社の営業エースとして活躍していた真行寺小梅 (波瑠) が助っ人として転職してくる。小梅が玄之介の教育係を兼ねる形でコンビを組むことになった2人は、早速、リノベーションの見積もり依頼があった家へ。玄之介は、家主がリノベーションに意欲的なことから早くも成約への手応えを感じるが、一方の小梅は営業マンとしての玄之介を0点と酷評する…。

Gennosuke and Koume meet a couple whose newly-purchased house is putting a strain on their marriage. Kubodera finds out that the rumours about Koume are false.

Gennosuke learns of the unfortunate situation about Yukino's mental health. Koume is excited after having a meeting.

Koume and Gennosuke find themselves being attracted to each other. A renovation request arrives at the office.
