Inheritance Detective

Detective Nao Haie stumbles upon a dispute over the estate of a mystery novelist, who left a video will despite knowing it wouldn't be legally valid.

Haie is asked to investigate a serial widow who has repeatedly enriched herself with the lucrative insurance policies of the men she marries.

The cat-loving proprietor of a shogi shop suddenly dies; his family discovers his will, which leaves his fortune to a curious name, Marie Antoinette.

Haie investigates a confectioner's will, which names the man's foolish legitimate son as his heir instead of his skilled but illegitimate child.

With Yashin and Masaomi both struggling to draw customers, Haie must find the truth behind their father's will before the brothers go out of business.

A young woman volunteers to take over her grandfather's public bathhouse; Haie starts getting things in order, but an unexpected problem arises.
