MuMuHug

MuMu is an innocent, sweet, curious creature who lives alone on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean-and he loves to hug! Whether it be an unsociable seagull, an eccentric penguin or even what appears to be a lifeless rubber ducky, everybody receives MuMu's hugs and his most sincere friend ship.

As dusk settles across the ocean, a few mysterious towers break the water's surface. Little Whale jumps out of the sea beside Mother Whale, happily puffing out water. The giant Whales pass by MuMu's island, but Little Whale is intrigued, so he turns back and finds MuMu upon the island.

On a sunny day, MuMu lies on the sand when he suddenly sees an object floating towards Muwa. MuMu happily waves his hand and runs to the shore but he trips on a small seashell. Picking his head up out of the water, MuMu looks up just in time to see a big wave crashing down upon him. When MuMu opens his eyes, he sees a yellow rubber ducky floating in front of him.

As MuMu plays with shells on the beach, Hermit Crab stares at a particularly beautiful one with keen interest. Hermit Crab tries to sneak into that shell, only to dart back into his original shell when he is almost noticed. Meanwhile, MuMu notices this new shell and picks it up, trying to listen for the sound of the waves.

One day, a spiritless parrot sitting on a piece of driftwood appears on Muwa. MuMu welcomes his new friend happily and shouts out, "MuMu!" But with great effort, the parrot tries to keep MuMu at bay, and only when he gets closer does MuMu realize that the parrot's strange behavior is due to the fact that he's been chained to the driftwood.

A gigantic clam arrives on Muwa one day. Curious, MuMu opens it up and sees a new friend inside that looks exactly like him. Overjoyed, MuMu tries to hug his new friend but finds that he cannot-after all, it is his own reflection. Disappointed and dejected, MuMu's eyes become to well up with tears.
