Episode 1

Hua Min Chu returns to China after studying in Japan for three years. Soon after his arrival, he finds himself getting involved with a gang called the Eight while travelling on a train.

Episode 2

Hua Min Chu is jailed for the murder of a peacemaker who was on the train. While in prison, he meets Qi Ming, a nobleman and a devoted pursuer of Lady Jin Xiu.

Episode 3

When Zhong Yao is kidnapped, along with some of Lady Jin Xiu's people, Hua Min Chu and Lady Jin Xiu work together to recruit the Eight to help them.
EPISODE 4

Episode 4

Hua Min Chu and Lady Jin Xiu take on the hidnapper, Zhang Yu, head on. They play a game of Russian roulette. Meanwhile, Ke Shu and Xi Shui try to find an underground pathway to free the hostages.

The Eight hide in the most dangerous place: the kidnapper's manor. Hua Min Chu tries to leave, but is unable to as he has become their temporary scroll bearer and must remain for a meeting to decide the Eight's future.

Hua Min Chu and Xi Shui are on the run when Jue Ye's men save them. Hua Min Chu is determined to leave the Eight, but the group beg him to remain their leader and fight for a better world.
