Hitomi learns that her father has three months left to live due to his illness. They try to do everything they want before he leaves the world behind.

With three months left to live due to his illness, Masahiko tries to do everything with Hitomi, who is getting married in three months.

Masahiko experiences severe pain and collapses, and Kazuma reveals he decided to participate in a comedy competition.

Hitomi expresses her honest feelings to Kazuma as she can't shake Masahiko off her mind, and Masahiko visits Shin to rid himself of his of guilt.

Masahiko asks Kishi, who works at a funeral company, to organise his funeral, which upsets Hitomi. Kazuma is offered a full-time position at his cram school.

Masahiko comes clean to Nakai and Kagaya about his cancer, Hitomi's mental condition becomes worse, and Kishi visits the Shiina family.
