Phoebe Foster

Phoebe Foster worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Foster found her beginnings in film with roles in the John Barrymore comedy adaptation "Dinner at Eight" (1933) and the Constance Bennett comedic adaptation "Our Betters" (1933). Foster began to focus on film after appearing in "Anna Karenina" (1935) with Greta Garbo and the historical love story "The Gorgeous Hussy" (1936) with Joan Crawford. Toward the end of her career, Foster acted in "The White Angel" (1936).
