A vicious medieval epic. After the death of his father, ruler of Kievan Rus, a young Viking prince is forced into exile across the frozen sea to escape his treacherous half-brother, who has conquered the Viking territory. With the aid of an old warrior, the Viking prince assembles an armada, hoping to reconquer his kingdom and ultimately face the mighty Byzantine forces.
