"Film director Yeon-woo has a hard time ever since his daughter (Ye-rim) died a few years ago. Unable to forget Ye-rim, Yeon-woo writes a screenplay about his daughter. The screenplay is titled, ""The Nightmare"". Then, Yeon-woo meets the woman (Soo) who appeared in his dream for a very long time, and he makes a movie with her. One day when they are shooting the movie, Yeon-woo's wife (Ji-yeon) comes to the movie set in order to meet Yeon-woo. Ji-yeon wanders around the set by herself to end up getting locked in a cold storage unit and is found dead the next morning. Yeon-woo is shocked to find Ji-yeon's pale, frozen dead body. He feels as if he's in a nightmare. However suddenly Yeon-woo wakes up panting as if he's waking up from a nightmare"
