The Zen Diary

Writer Tsutomu lives alone at a mountain cabin in Nagano, growing vegetables and collecting fruits and mushrooms. Sometimes his editor/girlfriend Machiko visits, and they cook with seasonal ingredients and eat together. Tsutomu seems to be enjoying an easygoing life, but he's still unable to bury his dead wife's ashes.
