Actor Butch Hammett was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Hammett began his career with roles in the series "In the Heat of the Night" (1987-1994), "The Practice" (ABC, 1996-2004) and "24" (Fox, 2001-2010). Later, Hammett acted in "Pearl Harbor II: Pearlmageddon" (2001), "Cold Case" (CBS, 2003-2010) and "Boston Legal" (2004-09). He also appeared in "Jericho" (CBS, 2006-08). More recently, Hammett appeared in "You've Got a Friend" (Hallmark Channel, 2006-07).
