마이클 마이어

Michael Mayer is an American theatre director, filmmaker, and playwright. He won the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical in 2007 for directing Spring Awakening. Among his stage credits, Mayer has written American Idiot, and renditions of the operas Rigoletto, in 2012, Marnie, La traviata, in 2018, and Aida, in 2024. He directed the films A Home at the End of the World, Flicka, The Seagull, and Single All the Way, and episodes of the shows Alpha House and Smash.
